Through experiential inquiry, students explore insect growth, reproduction, and ecological roles in forests, design a school insect hotel, and evaluate its effectiveness using scientific methods, fostering problem-solving skills and an appreciation of biodiversity.
Through six experiential tasks, learn about the important role of microorganisms in food production and preservation, understand the relationship between dietary choices and carbon emissions, practise low‑carbon eating and reducing waste, and foster an attitude of caring for the environment and living sustainably.
This module uses inquiry-based learning to guide students in exploring diverse plant reproductive strategies, seed dispersal methods, and the role of animals, while further investigating genetic traits and survival strategies, fostering scientific observation, analysis, and an appreciation of biodiversity.
